A Tribute to the Great Guo Xi

a Chinese landscape artist from the Henan province in China during the Northern Song Dynasty 960 - 1126, sometimes referred to as the Northern Song Master. Some similarities of artwork between the Polish artist Stanisław Pyra Piro and the Chinese painter Guo Xi are the works of landscapes including trees and mountain slopes. Similar characteristics of techniques between the two artists include incredibly detailed work, and multiple perspectives such as Guo Xi's angle of totality and the floating perspective. Some of special characteristics in Stanisław Pyra Piro drawings for example include objects such as human faces and skulls hidden in trees and landscapes, which can be found throughout many of Stanisław's works
