The Peace Sign Trend Returns
Nowadays, when it comes to jewelry, the most commonly used peace sign of
all is the one coming from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. This
model has revolutionized the world of jewelry, more and more people
being interested in this simple, but very interesting type of
accessories. You can buy
peace sign earrings, gloves, scarves, rings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and even moccasins or bags.
Good examples of why this piece sign thing has turned into a real
trend are film festivals and social events as such. Designers create
whole lines with peace symbols, so that people have where to choose
from. Although jewelry with peace signs on it has this hippie touch,
it does not necessarily mean that people are returning to the hippie
fashion. Jewelry with
peace symbols
has a new approach, new models are being released on the market,
some more elegant and chic than others.
The symbol used for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament is the most popular among fashion
designers today. However, it is not the only peace symbol used in this
industry and known to the entire world. Peace is also suggested by signs
such as doves carrying olive branches or both of these elements taken
separately, these having their origins in ancient times. As for more
recent such symbols, the one mentioned in the mentioned in the beginning
is completed by the V hand sign.
The success of the peace sign jewelry is somehow unbelievable both
among ordinary people and among celebrities. From ten-year-olds or
grandmothers to the first family of the United Sates of America,
everybody is fond of this kind of accessories and appreciates the
aesthetic value of this peace sign jewelry and other accessories. It
seems like there are fewer and fewer people who do not have at least a
peace sign necklace, a pin or some peace sign earrings at home.
The piece sign can now be found in all kinds of jewelry. Therefore, you
can find plastic peace sign accessories or you can run into this symbol
with some of the most sophisticated jewels released on the market today.
In the past, there were a lot of comments when people decided to wear
this kind of jewelry, but fashion today allows this new trend without no
inhibitions and no comments whatsoever. In fact, this retro
peace sign trend is very well received nowadays from a social point of view, too, not
only from the pure artistic one, promoting values and models in a very stylish, contemporary and everyday way.
Gregory Pyra, an international jewelry artist, has his work shown

completely on his own, and at the same time has superb quality. Today

Handmade Handwork, Gregory Pyra Piro, Gabriel Pyra, and The Piro Group
The Piro designer jewelry and art jewelry one of a kind pieces are
all original handmade master handcrafted by the jewelry artist.
Many of the jewelry artist Piro jewelry designs are made in sterling
silver and 14 karat gold, rather than in just sterling silver or 14
karat gold. It's an important part of Piro designer jewelry
that all pieces shown on our website are artist's original handwork.
It is possible to make casting designs in only sterling silver or
only in gold to have them repeated without any jewelry artist
handwork. But, if you have a design piece that is in both,
sterling silver and in 14 karat gold together, you know it is the
designer jewelry artist original handmade handwork. In Piro
designer jewelry, this is what is a very important point.
Artist original handwork? Yes.
Fine Art in Jewelry
One of the most creative things that an artist or jewelry artist can do is create and fuse fine art like
surrealism into jewelry.
Art jewelry, Designer Jewelry, Gregory Pyra Piro, Gabriel Pyra, and The Piro Group
Art jewelry, designer jewelry by artist Gregory Pyra Piro and the Piro
Group has been a long multi generation tradition in the family.
Piro art jewelry is made in a unique way and is formed into a unique
form. Every jewelry piece is a work of art, created entirely in
free form. Unlike most jewelry today, which is made in either
casting or is stamped, Piro art jewelry is made by hand and the free
forms are made with a torch with careful precision soldering, which is
something that takes a long time and a lot of skilled talent to master.
Therefore, each piece, even if based on a similar or even the same
design will come out a bit different, unlike it would in cast pieces,
and each piece is one of a kind even if based on a particular design.
The Piro art jewelry is made in sterling silver and 14 karat or 18 karat
gold, and sometimes all gold. The designs for center stones often
have facet cut gem stones such as: amethyst, blue topaz, citrine,
garnet, iolite, peridot, green
tourmaline, pink
tourmaline, or any other different colors of tourmaline. Alternately sometimes cabochons of
moonstone and
opal are used. Side stones, which sometimes are also major parts of the
design pieces can include:
ammonite,
Baltic amber,
glass,
sea glass,
drusy, mother pearl, and
Australian opal. Pearls,
opal,
moonstone, can be placed either as center or side gem stones. The center gem
stones in many Piro design jewelry pieces frequently come in such combinations as:
amethyst and blue topaz,
amethyst and garnet,
blue topaz and peridot,
citrine and garnet,
citrine and peridot, and
tourmaline can
come with another color gem stones. Sometimes gem stones can
double up as two amethyst stones or two blue topaz stones, for example.
And simpler pieces may have a single gem stone. Piro art jewelry
includes combination pieces such as
ring pendants, and some unique creative pieces such as the
stack rings.
