About the artist
Gregory Pyra, an international jewelry artist, has his work shown currently in museums such as the Malbork Castle Museum, in Malbork, and the Amber Museum in Gdansk in Poland. In the past he has made pieces for the Royal family in Sweden, for King Gustav and Queen Silvia in 1976 after his work was shown in Tidö Slott, in Tidö, Sweden. Gregory has had shows since the 1970's until the present throughout Europe and United States. Gregory had his jewelry works published in numerous books, which were printed in Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, France, etc. Some of his recent made work currently is found in galleries in the United States. His work in USA and Europe is one of the very few rarities that is still artist originally made. Gregory Pyra jewelry today clearly shows the difference between craft jewelry, popular in the UK and USA, and his own class of art jewelry, in that craft jewelry is just handmade vs. that art jewelry goes beyond into showing something that the artist creates that is not common to see. The exhibition room page here shows a collection of jewelry by artist Gregory Pyra Piro art jewelry. The art jewelry pieces here were Piro more recent designs. Piro designer jewelry is very unique. Piro likes to mix facet cut semi precious and facet cut precious stones with such materials as: amber, cut glass, sea glass, mother pearl, pearls, and ammonite. The facet cut stones often include: amethyst, blue topaz, citrine, garnet, tourmaline. Smaller facet cut stones may include: diamond, ruby, emerald and sapphire. The sterling silver and 14 karat gold or 18 karat gold is sometimes mixed with ebony wood and other materials. The designs of art jewelry by Piro have so many combinations in their compositions that it would be difficult to repeat any piece, as the combinations are limitless.

makes his work the way he does...
Gregory Pyra jewellery original artist's works
are creations of fine, elegant rare one of a
kind artworks in the jewelry medium.
All pieces
are functional works of art that are wearable,and include rings, pendants, bracelets,
earrings, watch bracelets, ring/pendants,
pin/pendants, necklaces, etc.
The
jewelry is designed elegant,is unique artwork, and also is functional.
All
pieces are authentic original works,and there are no reproductions.
The stones and metals used in the jewelry are
solid 14 karat and 18 karat gold,
sterling and fine silver, and a wide variety of stones
and gems are included, which are mixed
in a very unorthodox way, which is what creativity is
all about
. The combinations of the materials is ascreative as our artwork itself.
For example, he may make a piece in
